2018 Covenant/By-law Revisions

Information regarding our 2018 Covenant & By-Law revisions

The Committee to rewrite the Lake Somerset Subdivision Covenants and LSCA By-Laws has been active. Progress has been made, and for the first time in many years, the group feels like we can see the new Covenants and By-Laws happening!

We hopefully will have our first discussion on this topic at the Annual Meeting on September 15, 2018, at the LSCA Clubhouse. Please come! More special-called meetings will follow. 

Meanwhile, there are two documents we are working on: A history of the effort, and a progress statement on the 2018 HOA committee effort [Updated 11/10/18]. We encourage all of you to read these. 

We created these to document and convey information on these efforts (going back to 2002), gathered over the years, but most importantly, those of the last several months! We do hope that this information will assist us in your understanding of what will (hopefully) take place, and avoid repeating the "asked-and-answered" questions. There are 170 property owners (including the LSCA) in the subdivision, and to repeat an hour-long story 169 times means that we will be exhausted repeating... Thanks!

Note: While there are logical steps that must be followed, there is no "cast-in-concrete" timetable for this activity, nor a definite end date. But it would be great to have things happen soon!
